The challenge
A fifteen-person EdTech SaaS company was preparing its first public-sector tender, for a council education transformation programme. The product team could demonstrate the platform, but needed help explaining its proposed delivery and supporting evidence in a formal submission.
§ 02
Our approach
We agreed the response scope with the CEO and worked with the team on the written submission. The answers covered data protection, security, implementation and social value. The company's existing schools programme informed the social value response, while its development practices provided the basis for the implementation method.
§ 03
The result
The company was shortlisted and received presentation support before winning a £6M contract over five years. It subsequently won contracts with four more councils using the response material as a starting point. The business continued working with Bidgen on public-sector bids: “You understand both worlds.”
“We had 48 hours to respond or miss out. Bidgen understood our tech AND council procurement.”

How the response was developed
•A delivery method based on the company’s development practices
•Support with the written response and presentation
•An agreed scope and fee before work began
•The company’s actual experience and capacity explained clearly
•Approved response material retained for later opportunities
