Your outsourced public-sector bid team
You run an established business and want to win more public-sector work. We find suitable opportunities, help you decide what to pursue and manage your bids through to submission. You do not need an existing pipeline or in-house bid team. One experienced owner brings the writers and reviewers your business needs.
Before you start
Who this helps
- An established business that wants to grow through public-sector contracts
- A company that wants an expert team to find opportunities and run the bids
- An existing bidder that needs consistent ownership and more delivery capacity
Points to check
- A business without the delivery capability or evidence required by its target buyers
- A plan to bid for every notice regardless of eligibility or commercial fit
- A request for guaranteed contract awards or commitments made without your approval
We start with your business, not a list of tenders
We learn what you sell, where you can deliver, the work you want to win and the evidence behind your offer. Together we agree the buyers, contract sizes and opportunities worth pursuing. If you have not tendered before, we identify the preparation needed and build the opportunity profile with you.
You do not need to arrive with a shortlist. A Free Bids Audit can help establish the market opportunity, while onboarding turns your growth plans into a practical search and bid strategy.
We find opportunities and give you a clear recommendation
Our team monitors the agreed market, reviews relevant notices and gets into the procurement documents. We check access, mandatory requirements, delivery fit, commercial considerations and the work involved in responding. You get a reasoned recommendation to pursue, investigate or pass.
An open tender, a framework application and an early market engagement need different decisions. We make that distinction and bring suitable opportunities to you with the next step explained.
We take ownership of the bids you choose
Your named owner plans the response, interviews your specialists, organises evidence and coordinates the writing. Experienced people develop and independently review the answers, using the buyer's requirements and your approved delivery approach. We manage the agreed submission tasks and make the remaining decisions clear.
Your team provides access to its expertise and approves the facts, price, contractual commitments and final response. We agree the responsibilities, deadlines and capacity before work begins, so you know what we own and when we need you.
Each bid makes the next one easier
We retain the company context, approved evidence and lessons from buyer feedback. Between submissions, agreed work includes opportunity review, preparation for upcoming tenders and improvements to the evidence buyers repeatedly ask for.
The partnership gives the function a consistent owner. Writing and review capacity can adapt around the number and complexity of suitable bids, with priorities and scope agreed as the workload changes.
From a small public-sector foothold to £7M+ in new contracts
A building compliance company started working with Bidgen in Q3 2025 with little public-sector revenue. We developed its framework strategy and now handle five or more suitable opportunities each month.
The client won £3M+ in new contract value in Q1 2026, around six months into the relationship, followed by £4M+ in Q2 2026. The £7M+ total covers the first half of 2026.
An ongoing partnership with a defined scope
The service runs on a Retainer. We agree the work, capacity, fee and commitment in your proposal, including how additional or overlapping bids will be handled. You get visibility of the pipeline, work in progress and decisions that need your attention.
If you already have a bid team, we can work alongside it. If you only need help with one live opportunity, our one-off tender support is scoped and quoted for that response.
Common questions
01Do we need to have tendered before?
No. The starting point is an established business with a credible service and the ability to deliver. We can assess the market, identify readiness gaps and build the opportunity pipeline with you.
02Do you find the tenders and write the bids?
Yes. In an ongoing partnership, we connect discovery and qualification with planning, writing, independent review and the agreed submission work. One owner retains the context across the relationship.
03How much work will our team need to do?
We organise the response and develop the drafts. Your specialists explain and confirm how you will deliver; your authorised people approve evidence, pricing, contractual commitments and the final response. We plan those inputs with you instead of leaving them until the deadline.
04Can you work with our existing bid manager?
Yes. We agree which opportunities and tasks your team owns and where Bidgen adds management, writing or review capacity. The working model can support an existing function as well as provide one.
05What happens when there are no suitable live tenders?
We continue the agreed opportunity monitoring and preparation work, including evidence improvements and planning for upcoming procurements. We qualify opportunities on fit and value rather than creating bids to fill the diary.
